Bio

Since 2020 Billy Joe Franks has been a doctoral student at the TU Kaiserslautern in the Machine Learning group supervised by Prof. Dr. Marius Kloft. Previously he finished his bachelors and masters degree in computer science at the TU Kaiserslautern (2012-2020).

Research interests

Billy Joe Franks specializes in basic research in machine learning, with a past focus on anomaly detection in deep learning. Currently, he is working on expressivity in graph learning focussing specifically on positional and structural encodings.
