Bio

Nabeel Hussain Syed received his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Pakistan, in 2019. After graduation, he worked as a Data Scientist for 1.5 years, focusing on Deep Learning applications involving 3D data, table detection, and table recognition. He completed his Master’s degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Intelligent Systems at TU Kaiserslautern in 2024.

Before beginning his PhD, Nabeel worked as a Research Assistant in the Machine Learning Group led by Prof. Dr. Marius Kloft at TU Kaiserslautern, where he is now pursuing his doctoral studies.

Research Interests

Nabeel’s research interests span Deep Learning for Computer Vision—particularly 3D deep learning (e.g., seed‑germination analysis) and anomaly detection using curriculum learning—and, more recently, the alignment of large language models with a focus on improving inference efficiency.
